First miles in US

Good morning !
It is early morning for me - time change adaptation is still not finished, so I wake up very early. Yesterday I was in bed in seconds...

On Friday, after arrival, I spent 1 hour in line for passport control. Nice oficer shared with me his experience how to avoid bears - hope I don't need to use it. Next Carey from the rental pick me up and deliver so I could see my bike. I took side cases and get to hotel, I passed by Walmart for getting a local phone and some food.
Yesterday, Saturday morning, I was back in the rental place. Some extra things needed to be fixed in the moto, we also went thur current damage list and planned service schedule. I added Scott adress into GPS and was ready to go !

I'm ready to go :-)))

 

Scott lives in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and it was a good place to rest after first few hours of driving.

After a short lunch I was on my way to Pet - also Sandvik colleague, that I met during a leadership training earlier this year.

In the picture: Pet, his older son Miles and dog Brewer.

Afterwards I continue driving west. I reached the hotel in Saprta almost in darkness.

Plan for today - driving west, tomorrow my plan is to visit 1st park - Badlands NP. Weather forecasts show rain and storms, so I need to be flexible
