Grand Teton & Glacier National Parks

After spending days in Yellowstone it was time to continue the journey. First on my agenda was Grand Teton National Park, located just south of Yellowstone. My plan was just to drive thru, while views I saw made me to change my minds. I took a boat trip thru Jenny Lake and hike up towards so called "Inspiration Point". The panorama from there is really a very nice one and very inspiring.

After this short brake I continue the ride and after going around Grand Teton mountains I directed north towards Glacier National Park. I reach it the next afternoon and manager to make a hike once more. This time I went into north part of park and hike towards Josephine Lake to see many glaciers.
Glacier National Park is located on the border with Canada (the park continue under Waterton name there) and you can still see glaciers there. According to scientists in 20 yers from now the view will look much different due to global warming...

After the night at the camping I wake up very early and started the trip at 7.00 - the trip was to go on "Going to the Sun Road". It is a very panoramic road and it is very popuar to visit, in addition there are many road works done there. Thanks to early start I manager to get to culmination point - the Logan Pass - being almost alone on the road :-) Being a head of time I decide to hike towards Hidden Lake - part of trail was closed due to recent bears activities.
