Olympic National Park & turning point of my trip

Olympic National Park was on my planning agenda from the beginning. I saw many comments promissing it is worth to go there - and I can confirm this is true.
I started the visit alrady Wednesday early evening when I went to Hurricane Ridge. Super narrow road, fantastic views - and numer of animals and people almost the same :-)

This is picture, not postcard ;-) - at Hurricane Ridge

I started Thursday by seeing Crescent Lake and then drove to Neah Bay where I hiked to Cape Flattery - continental USA (almost) northwestern point. From here my trip change direction and I will mostly go south & east.

In Neah Bay I visited museumm of Makah Indian nation

Cape Flattery - (almost) most northwestern point in USA.
A change- now I go south - east.

Next on my agenda were pacific coast beaches. In the evening I visited pictures Rialto Beach and yesterday morning Ruby Beach.

I am very glad to decided to see this park. Weather conditions are tougher then anywhere (driving a car would also be difficult in such strong side wind) and I was lucky with them (just got one shower  yesterday morning) which may be an extra reason for my joy.

Yesterday afternoon I was on the interstate directing California. Phrase "I was" is the right one as 10 miles south of Portland I manager to get thru in ... 1 hour. Lesson learned and now I will avoid big cities when using interstates.

Today I'm going to Crater Lake National Park in Oregon - rest of the week I will spend visiting parks in California.
